NJ alt-rockers The Break Plans emerged in 2019 with a modern-day formula of 80’s-influenced, poptimistic tunes that showcase a variety of styles. From polished pop to anthemic choruses to tender ballads ... singer Colton Braun, guitarist Mikey Strawz, and drummer Dan Carr have perfected a signature sound with mass appeal.

Fast-forward to the present, The Break Plans’ catalog has garnered over a quarter of a million streams and their single “Fashionably Late” placed in the top 40 of iHeart’s and Mediabase’s Adult Contemporary Charts for 12 weeks straight. They are a brand ambassador for Slate Digital’s wireless mic series and are currently signed with MGM Distribution and Sentric Music Group.

The Break Plans have performed throughout the tri-state area at festivals like Musikfest, Launch, Light Of Day,  and North To Shore; and in venues including Hard Rock’s Daer Nightclub-AC, The Foundry-Philadelphia, The Stone Pony, Arlene’s Grocery, Asbury Lanes, House of Independents, Hotel Café - LA, Bowery Electric, Rockwood Music Hall, and many more.

The Break Plans recently released their debut EP - “mistakes are a friend of mine” - a collection that captures their growth and development as an emerging relevant force in the alt-rock genre.
